The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

Gladys & Steve's Wedding Reception 5/31/2008

With Disney characters designating tables, Gladys and Steven planned a fun-filled and unforgettable event- much like the couple themselves. Organza lavender chair sashes accented the pastel pink and violet edged hydrangea centerpieces, with favors for each guest wrapped in petite purple ribbon. The cake table, dressed in white tulle and tied with violet bows and twinkle lights, showcased the incredible four-tiered wedding cake. Decorated in an iridescent ivory fondant with elegant script writing and decor, the special cake looked as good as it tasted: marble cake with chocolate ganache-praline french buttercream filling and almond cake with rum custard filling. This delicious combination of flavors reflects the perfect match between Gladys and Steven.

Hien and Kory's wedding captured the couple's fun loving and easy going characteristics.

Lisa & Corey's Wedding Reception 3/15/2008

With whimsical curly willow and nature tumbled river rocks, Lisa's and Corey's special day was beautifully decorated with the harmonizing shades of sage green satin linens and soft pink and ivory accents. Friends and family took with them fond memories and a personal bubbly and sparkling favor, while leaving behind for Lisa and Corey their warmest wishes on rocks to last a lifetime.

Amy & Erick's Wedding Reception 2/9/2008

A warm town & country affair! Mason jar floral centerpieces accented with burgundy napkins warmed up the room for a cozy and intimate ambiance. Customized favors of mini honey jars and chocolate squares awaited each guest at their tables, each named after unique flora.

Agnes&Victor's Wedding Reception 12/15/2007

Champagne. Chocolate. Cherry.
The delicious color combination of Agnes' and Victor's wedding nearly paled the sugary sweetness of the custom candy buffet. Apothecary glass jars filled to the brim with chocolate malt balls, chocolate caramel squares, coca cola gummies, sour cherry gummies and more lined the table decorated with matching linens and accompanied by personalized handmade satchels. As a sweet gesture, the candy buffet gifted guests the opportunity to take home a bit of the couple's sweetness at the end of the night.
