Valentine's Day is quickly approaching!(didn't we JUST celebrate New Years!). And what could be more romantic then a wonderful dinner at home, away from the crowds of people, fighting over tables, and show tickets. So this week we have a special
setting the table, Valentine's edition!
Adding decor to change the look and feel of your home always makes things feel extra special and Valentine's Day is no exception (otherwise it's just dinner right?).
Valentine's Day is innately a girly holiday which means we can still enjoy pretty pinks, and glitter as much as we'd like. It's the perfect time to take out grandma's delicate china and use all of the cute girly things we can't resist, that our gentlemen callers could care less about.

For a more dramatic look, we'll stick to the traditional color of Valentine's day; red.
Red is, after all, the color of passion and can be used in a very bold way, or in deeper tones for a more romantic look.

Just as we made valentine's out of paper and doilies when we were young this is a great holiday for DIYs (especially because you'll only have to make two of everything!). So print out menus for your dinner, and add placecards to really make it special!
You can even make your own decor for the table. Use ribbon in various sizes and colors to create a simple and cost effective table runner.
We all know that the traditional flower of Valentine's is the red rose, but we also know they're extremely expensive during this holiday season. So keep it simple with a single rose, or choose another seasonal flower in red or pink. And of course you don't want to forget the candles! Because they're romantic, and everyone looks better in candle light...

And of course we've got you covered when it comes to the food, with our Chef's specially crafted
tasting menu for two. So you can just relax and enjoy Valentine's Day with your Valentine!
