U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

WASHINGTON D.C., June 26, 2008 -- Colette's Catering & Specialty has been selected for the 2008 Best of Fullerton Award in the Caterers category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).

The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

to top it all off...

From custom monograms to porcelain figurines to unique floral arrangements, cake toppers have developed into an integral part of a couple's wedding day. Some toppers hold significant meaning to the bride and groom, while other toppers may reflect a more humorous characteristic shared between the newlyweds.

Shown here are a few favorite selections of cake toppers from Colette's Catering.

Cakes as well as cake toppers come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing remains the same for all our wedding cakes- the bride and groom are represented in the cake through the overall design, the topper, and even the chosen flavors. As for me, well, I love penguins and cake, therefore...

Gladys & Steve's Wedding Reception 5/31/2008

With Disney characters designating tables, Gladys and Steven planned a fun-filled and unforgettable event- much like the couple themselves. Organza lavender chair sashes accented the pastel pink and violet edged hydrangea centerpieces, with favors for each guest wrapped in petite purple ribbon. The cake table, dressed in white tulle and tied with violet bows and twinkle lights, showcased the incredible four-tiered wedding cake. Decorated in an iridescent ivory fondant with elegant script writing and decor, the special cake looked as good as it tasted: marble cake with chocolate ganache-praline french buttercream filling and almond cake with rum custard filling. This delicious combination of flavors reflects the perfect match between Gladys and Steven.
